For my blog I have chosen 15 fashion images
that are related to food. After looking at a range of different collections it
was brought to my attention that food has been featured in many different types
of collections. Whilst collecting my images it is clear that some of the
outfits have a very clear relation to different foods, whereas other only have
a subtle connection which take more focus to figure out that they are food
related. It has been brought to the media’s attention over the past few years
of the weight of models being underweight, therefore the fact that a lot of
these collections feature unhealthy and fast foods is quite a contradiction. My
images range from well know runway designers with collections featured in
fashion week to newer designers with quirky styles. Overall, looking deeper
into this theme I found that it is a popular theme for designers to choose with
many branching off in different directions to express the theme.
